Davis McCollum, a unofficial local historian.  

I met him here at at the Anderson-Fowler House, which I think is owned by Cobb Landmarks now.  Maybe not.   Davis gave a slide presentation of historical sites in Cobb County.

Mr Cole. His ancestor donated the land for the Marietta National Cemetery in Civil War times.
