Edith Gertrude Jones (1898 - 1986)

This is Anna's great aunt,  Edith Gertrude Jones (1898-1986).  Gertrude is the sister of Anna's grandmother on her mother's side.   She was born in the Alpharetta - Milton area , married near there,  died there,  and is buried at Midway Methodist Church there.   She was a storekeeper.

She lived a short time with her sister, Irene Jones Foster, Anna's grandmother, in Marietta.

At age 47. 20 July 1946, in Forsyth County, Georgia, she married Twigg W. Wood, age 50, she lived 88 years.
