One Block Away

These impressive looking homes are on Trickum Road, one block from me, about one tenth of a mile away, as the crow by.  But, as the law abiding citizen goes either by foot or wheels, it is about 1.1 miles away.

This bottom pond is where I took my oldest son fishing for the first time..  He caught a 13 pound carp.  I think somebody probably caught the carp in a bigger body of water, and threw it back here.  It scared both of us.  See below.
