Night Blooming Sirius

After 10:00pm one night we got a call from Anna’s parents.   It scared us for them to call that time of night, something terrible must have happened.  Nothing terrible had happened.  They were excited because their Night Blooming Sirius had bloomed and it would be a one time thing, and after that night it would un-bloom.  Please come over and take pictures, which I did.  see?

It is a sight to behold in person, to see and smell a Night Blooming Serious.  There is a wild sex smell in the air, like a hundred horses had a sex party and an sticky ooze was running down the stalk.
