Arthur married Gwen Ellora Westmoreland [719] [MRIN: 365], daughter of ____________ ____________ and ____________ ____________, on 25 Dec 1910 in , Cobb Co, GA.¹ Gwen was born on 29 Jan 1887 in , Cobb Co, GA and died on 18 Feb 1978 in Orlando, , FL at age 91. They had five children: William Allen, Minnie Lou, Martha Ray, Elizabeth Mae, and Arthur Riley.

Arthur Hunter left Woodstock Sunday, Oct 31, 1915, and went to Cordele, Ga.  Gwen and the children came down here Nov 4 and staid still Dec 10.  They left here this morn soon, was going by Mr. Prances then on by the Boys, Ben and Olin was going on to Marietta and carry cotton Jamer and Louella are going on to Atlanta with Gwen, they will go to Wills tonight and go on to Cordele tomorrow.

Gwen and children came July 14 and Arhur came the 20.  They left here adn went to Woodstock July 26, to Atlanta the 28, got home the 29th.

Gwem amd chldren came Nov 16, 1916,  back from Cordele.

Arthur left Woodstock for Cordele Nov 19, 1917.  Gwen and children came down here that eve.  James carried his things up to Woodstock that day to send on to Cordele, he is geathering the crop.  Louella and Christine are staying at Mr Yorks and James stayed there at night.

James and Louella left here Sunday eve, Dec 2, 1917, was going to spend the night in Atlanta with Birtha and and Gwen and children left Monday morning the 3rd.  James was to meet her at the car barn and there were all to go on to Cordele  to live on another year.

Gwen and Children came July 18 (1918), Olin, Clara, Leonard, and Calvin Chance went to Atlanta in Mr. Chane's car to meet her.  They went home aug 1st.  Olin and Lewis went with them to Atlanta, Calvin carried them.

Ben, Olen, Clara, Leonard, James, and myself went to Cordele to visit Gwen and family. July 7 and came and came back the 9th.We had a nice trip, went in car, had no trouble and enjoyed ourselves fine.

Gwen, William, Minnie Lou, Martha, and Elizabeth came July, on Friday and the next Thursday, August 4.  James and family came.  All of our family was here except Arthur.

Gwen and children, all except William, came Sunday, July 19, 1925, and went home August 2, staid two weeks.

Gwen and all her children came Aug 1, 1926 (for family reunion). 

Olen carried Gwen, James, William, and myself to Atlanta and they went  on to Cordele.  We got home at 12 that night.
