Union County Georgia Old Courthouse, now a History Museum
The old Union County Courthouse in Blairsville, Ga., is now a Union County History Museum and the court room is for concerts, mostly bluegrass.
A nice little eccentric restaurant across from the old courthouse. The owner is very talkative.
Inside he history museum: Charles Roscoe Dyer. He is a distant Hunter cousin. He was an educator and civic leader. I used to see him at Hunter reunions and surprisingly, remembered me by name. He also was he only person at the reunion that wore a bow-tie..
