Mr. Huey worked with Georgia Power Company from 1946-1986; he was a member of Canton First United Methodist Church where he had served on the Board of Trustees, he was a World War II navy veteran and served on the Sequoyah Regional Library Board of Trustees and the North Georgia Area Planning and Development Commission. Mr. Huey was a member of the Canton Lions Club, Canton Golf Club and Cherokee Game and Fish Club. Huey Funeral Home, Canton, Ga.
