ACCIDENT WITH GUN KILLS MR. R. LEE COLLINS OF VICTRON DISTRICT

     The entire Victron community was shocked Thursday night, December 28, 1933, when Mr. Lee Collins shot himself with a shotgun.

     Mr. Lee Collins was very popular among his assicates and made friends where ever he went.  He was ever ready to lend his  cooperation in the up building of his school and community in every way.

     He was 26 years, 5 months, and 25 days old.  He and Lucy Mae was married Aug 26, 1926, in Hall Co., Georgia.

     He is survived by his wife lucy and 4 small children, R.L. - Martha - James - Nellie - his parents, Ernest & Alice Collins - 3 sisters, Essie, Geneva of Victron Community, Barrow Co., Ga., and Corene Lance of Hall Co. -  3 brothers, Carl Zeb Collins of Hall Co., Ga., Paul Thomas Collins of Douglasville, Ga., and Benjamin Harold Collins of Victron Community, Barrow Co., ga. - his father-in-law, James P. England & mother-in-law, Cora Belle England and their families.

     The funeral was conducted by Rev. J.C. Harben at Bartharbra Baptist Church andwas buried there.  J.B. Vickers Funeral Director of Gainesville, Ga., was in charge of the funeral.
